Hansika Motwani Registers Tamil Cinema Nadigar Sangham
General Secretary of Nadigar Sangham Mr.Radha Ravi requested Aishwarya Rai to become a member of Nadigar Sangham (South Indian Artistes’ Association) at the Endhiran audio launch, a number of Bollywood actresses who are working here in Tamil films, including Hansika Motwani, are ready to register themselves in the SIAA.
Hansika, who’s currently a hot-and-happening actress in Kollywood with three films in her hans, like Vijay's Velayudham, kitty — Maapillai and Ich , all with big heroes, is not yet a member of the Nadigar Sangham. But that will change, according to her spokesperson, when Hansika arrives in Chennai next week for a spell of shooting as the first thing she plans to do is to become a member of SIAA.
Industry sources reveal that Genelia, who started her Tamil film career a few years ago with a Shankar film, Boys, had not become a member. Now, one hears that she has also agreed to be a part of the SIAA.
Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai has also asked for the registration form so she can fill it out and become a member, a source says. Why the sudden rush, you may wonder. The answer is simple. The association has issued a deadline — August 15, by which date all those who weren’t a part of SIAA had to become members, failing which they won’t be signed by any Tamil film producers.
