Hansika Motwani's friendship with Genelia

These are the days when catfights are a common thing between actresses if they work together in a film. But Genelia D’Souza and Hansika Motwani stand opposite to this infamous trend.

The actresses, who are sharing the screen space with ‘Ilaya Thalapathi’ Vijay in ‘Velayudham’, a film directed by ‘Jayam’ Raja, share a close friendship and care a lot for each other.

Sources in the unit say they could see Genelia and Hansika chatting with each other with much warmth whenever there is a break during the movie’s shoot. “They are having a blast on the sets,” sources add.

Confirming this, Hansika, who recently watched ‘Orange’, a Telugu film starring Ramcharan Teja and Genelia in lead roles, tweeted: “Saw Orange and I thought that Charan was superb. Genelia was nice.”

Hansika feels bad because of rumour

Popular Tamil-Telugu actress Hansika Motwani, who is currently busy with the promos of ace choreographer-director-actor Prabhu Deva's directorial venture Engeyum Kadhal starring Jayam Ravi, has denied a report in an English tabloid alleging that she was seen with Prabhu Deva in a Hyderabad hotel.

The tabloid added that Hansika were spotted sharing an intimate moment with her director, when Nayantara came and blasted her in public! Some say that Prabhu Deva has grown so fond of the young actress that it has started to affect his relationship with Nayantara.

Hansika is naturally upset with these false reports being circulated by many websites and she condemned them, saying that Prabhu Deva is like elder brother to her. "How can people have such a nasty mind? I am just 19 and how could they link me with my director who I consider as my mentor and guru? He is like my elder brother and whoever is spreading such rumours is clearly out of his mind," she said to a leading website.

Hansika Motwani about Twitter

Hansika Motwani who once decided to quit twitter, has now made up her mind, not to do so. The cause of Hansika's earlier decision was that she spends hours together as she opens Twitter website. About 25,000 people follow her on the cited social networking website. Hansika used to post interesting matters on her account. Recently she believed to have decided about terminating her account on twitter fearing that she would get addicted to it. But as she opened her account for one last time, she found messages of the followers and answered the same. Then, she reportedly made up her mind to continue on Twitter. The reason is that she doesn't want to disappoint so many followers.

Hansika Motwani says, "Twitter is the easiest way to keep in touch with fans. I'd usually deny the gossips through twitter. I regularly post the news related to my films on it."

Hansika say's Harris jayaraj music rocks:

Hansika Hansika Motwani was happy when she came to know that the audio of her Prabhu Deva-directed Engeyum Kadhal, with Jayam Ravi as hero, will be launched in the first week of October in Chennai.

Said a gushing Hansika, "Harris Jayaraj's music in this film is fantastic. It is on my lips, especially the title song (Engeyum Kadhal...). Last week, Prabhu sir called me up after seeing the rushes of the film and said that I'm looking fresh and gorgeous in the film. I'm eagerly looking forward to come to Chennai for the audio launch of the film." Hansika is doing three films in Tamil — Maapillai with Dhanush, Engeyum Kadhal with Jayam Ravi and Velayudham with Vijay. At the moment, she is taking a break and is at home in Mumbai.

Last week, she celebrated Eid and Ganesh Chathurthi with her friends. A very happy and relaxed Hansika said, "I took advantage of both the celebrations. Though I do not have a sweet tooth, I always wait for Eid so that my Muslim friends can treat me with seviyan (a sweet served during Eid). The very next day was Ganesh Chathurthi, one festival I wait for to hog on the modaks (kozhukattai).

Added Hansika, "It was surprising that both the festivals came together this year but it was a chance for my school friends and me to have a blast. All of us booked tickets well in advance and watched our favourite hero Salman Khan's Dabangg at a multiplex. It was a paisa vasool mass entertainer. It's always great to catch up with old friends and watch a movie together!"
Hansika concluded, "The festival season has started off well for me. Soon, my 'film festival' will start with Engeyum Kadhal for Deepavali, followed by Maapillai and Velayudham. I can't wait for my movies to reach the audiences."

Another Treat to Hansika Fans

Hansika's Ich movie shooting has completed

Prabhu Deva's direction Movie 'Ich', starring Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles, has completed its final shooting schedule recently. The first schedule was delayed due to some untimely rain, and the whole cast and crew worked overtime to make up for the lost time.

The shoot in France(Paris) was unforgettable. The character Hansika play in the film is probably one that is closest to her heart. Lolitha, as the hero Ravi calls her in the film, is funny, feisty and very now. The mood on the sets and its extended shoot in some of the beautiful locations in Paris has been nothing but fun and that's exactly what the film is all about.

Though the name of the character Hansika Motwani playing in ‘Ich’, directed by Prabhudeva, is Lalitha, ‘Jayam’ Ravi, the protagonist of the film would call her Lolitha throughout the movie.

“There is a specific reason behind his calling her Lolitha and we will come to know it once the film gets released,” the actress, who has returned from Paris after completing the shoot of the movie, says.

Happy about bagging promising projects in Tamil, she says, “I am thrilled that my first three films in Kollywood are with three big stars- Vijay, Ravi and Dhanush. All of them are very cooperative and helpful.”

Hansika Motwani Registers Tamil Cinema Nadigar Sangham

General Secretary of Nadigar Sangham Mr.Radha Ravi requested Aishwarya Rai to become a member of Nadigar Sangham (South Indian Artistes’ Association) at the Endhiran audio launch, a number of Bollywood actresses who are working here in Tamil films, including Hansika Motwani, are ready to register themselves in the SIAA.
Hansika, who’s currently a hot-and-happening actress in Kollywood with three films in her hans, like Vijay's Velayudham, kitty — Maapillai and Ich , all with big heroes, is not yet a member of the Nadigar Sangham. But that will change, according to her spokesperson, when Hansika arrives in Chennai next week for a spell of shooting as the first thing she plans to do is to become a member of SIAA.

Industry sources reveal that Genelia, who started her Tamil film career a few years ago with a Shankar film, Boys, had not become a member. Now, one hears that she has also agreed to be a part of the SIAA.

Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai has also asked for the registration form so she can fill it out and become a member, a source says. Why the sudden rush, you may wonder. The answer is simple. The association has issued a deadline — August 15, by which date all those who weren’t a part of SIAA had to become members, failing which they won’t be signed by any Tamil film producers.

Hansika Says Hasika Says there anybody to compete with me!!

Hansika Motwani is a Mumbai girl and is now pairing with Next Super Star Vijay in Velayudham, with Dhanush in Mappillai and with Jayam Ravi in Itch. While speaking to the media she said,” I am a Mumbai girl. My mother was a doctor. After coming from school I use to sit in her clinic and play pranks.

I use to mimic the people who are there. Seeing this I got the opportunity to act in an Ad film at the age of nine. I also acted with Sharukh Khan in a car Ad film. After this I acted in a TV serial.

I got 14 best child actor awards for acting in this serial. From that time itself I use to pass my time before the camera. Juhi Chawla got me a small role in the Hindi film Koi Mil Gaya. After this I got introduced in a Telugu film which had Allu Arjun in the lead role in the year 2007. After this I had acted in a Hindi film in Aap Ka Zaroor.

Both the films earned me a good name. Then I started acting in Kannada films and now I am acting in Tamil films. Many are asking me whether I will able to withstand in Tamil industry. Don’t think that I came from Mumbai to dance and go. I am a powerful performer.

I am called switch off-switch on star in Hindi and Telugu industry because I can immediately perform any reaction given. It is like how a bulb burns when the switch is on. Is there anybody here to compete with me.”

Actress Hansika Motwani Interview by Hindustan Times

Hansika Motwani Interview by Hindustan Times

It's been six months since Aap ka Suroor but you've signed just one movie. How come?
I'd be doing 10 films simultaneously if the offers had been exciting. After Aap ka Suroor I wasn't interested in any more ronadhona roles. So I waited till Kumar Mangat's Honey Hai To Money Hai happened. It's a riot!

Do you have a father fixation in your choice of heroes?
I'm one of Govindaji's biggest fans.. our film Honey Hai.. is not a regular prem kahani. I'm playing a TV artiste who aspires to become a film star. Govindaji is a Mr Fix-it who helps me realise my dream. He sorts out the problems of others too.. Upen Patel and Aftab Shivdasani.

Upen and Aftab aren't exactly teenagers either.
My age would be an issue only if I was an inexperienced bachi messing up my shots. But I've been working since the last six years. Even with Govindaji, I sailed through our first shot in one take. (Beaming) Govindaji was impressed.

You'll still look like a mismatched jodi.
No we won't. The film's a comedy and everyone's going to be laughing so hard that they won't give our age a passing thought. Even Jeetuji (Jeetendra) romanced Neetuji (Singh) after working with her as a child star! Besides I'm a better than average actress.

Aren't you interested in pairing up with someone closer to your age. Shahid Kapur may be?
I've been getting plenty of offers with the younger actors too but I'm more interested in my role than my co-star. I'm 16 going on 17. I can carry on for another 10-15 years. Time is on my side. By the time I'm 20 I'll look very sexy. Already, I've lost about nine kilos.

In retrospect do you think Aap ka Suroor was a good launch, given that the focus was almost entirely on Himesh?
Aap ka Suroor was Himeshji's launch. So it's understandable that he would look out for himself. I got enough footage and earned myself a superhit. By the way when we were shooting in Germany I wasn't mobbed, but then neither was Himeshji. Shah Rukh Khan is the only superstar there.

And after the release of Aap ka Suroor, a Pakistani soldier patrolling the other side of the Indo-Pak border admitted shyly that he was my fan.

Have you moved to South films because of none-too-exciting offers in Bombay?
I haven't moved down South. I've had only one Telugu release DeshMudru that just completed a 200-day run. I played a 16-year-old sanyasin in it. I've just wrapped up a Kannada film Bindaas with Puneet Raaj Kumar and have started work on another Telugu film, Kantri, with NTR junior.

I've been pretty lucky with my South films but I won't take on more than one at a time because I want to keep enough dates reserved for the Bombay movies.

Has your father reconciled himself to your acting career?
(With a frown) He left us when I was 10 years old. That's when my mother made me start acting as a child artiste. Imagine, I got to do Koi Mil Gaya. Now dad is in touch..

Your mother has been handling all your business transactions. Aren't you putting yourself in an Ameesha Patel-like situation?
Everything I earn goes into a trust that will come to me when I am 18. There's no reason to mistrust someone who's spending Rs 3000 a month on my education and refuses to touch even a rupee of my money.

Tamil Industry Banned Hansika Motwani !!!

Tamil film artists association has issued notices to the actresses Aishwarya Rai, Genelia, Hansika, Samantha, and Oviya and so on and are intending to ban them from august 15th,2010, if in case, they do not register themselves in the Nadigar Sangam.
Nadigar Sangam head is furious on the issue that Kollywood is being swarmed by many females from other languages, but they do not bother to register themselves in the Tamil film artist association. Moreover, the actresses are on the signing spree and are not responding to the notices issued to them with Legal possibilities. For this reason, Nadigar Sangam is banning all those actresses who do not register themselves by the deadline of August 15th, 2010.

Interestingly, the names of Aishwarya Rai, Genelia and Hansika are topping the list, these actresses are acting in kollywood from many years and from all these days, Nadigar Sangam officials might be sleeping in their offices and suddenly are behind the female flock in order to mince money from the poor actresses for raising their official funds.
